Christine J. St. Louis

Christine J. St. Louis, 63, of Kingsford, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI, surrounded by her loving family. Chris was born July 31, 1959, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Russel and Joyce (Anderson) Pultz. She graduated from Niagara High School in 1977 and went on to earn a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Bay de Noc Community College. Chris took a position at Dickinson County Hospital as an LPN and continued her schooling at Bay, receiving her degree as a Registered Nurse. Chris married Thomas St. Louis on October 1, 1983, at St. Mary Queen of Peace Church in Kingsford. She worked as a nurse for Michigan-Wisconsin Family Practice for over 30 years, retiring in 2018. It was Chris’ passion to selflessly provide care to others through her work. Chris was involved in the Relay for Life, the Parent-Teacher Organization while her kids were in school and was an active member of St. Mary Queen of Peace Church where she taught CCD for several years. She enjoyed sewing and quilting with her friends. She also had a love for shopping. Her impressive shopping skills always resulted in the most thoughtful gifts. Above all else, Chris found the most joy in her role of being a mother and grandmother. Any time spent with family was what she treasured most. Her grandchildren were her absolute pride and joy. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Tom; three children, Kimberly (Bryan) Bero of Green Bay, Patrick (Becky) St. Louis of Montgomery, TX and Paul (Catherine) St. Louis of Sheboygan, WI; a brother, Robert (Deb) Pultz of Niagara; a sister, Carolyn (Bruce) LeBlanc of Mesa, AZ; six grandchildren, Owen, Carter & Claire Bero and Maverick, Madelyn & Maxton St. Louis; and several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Pultz. Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 am on Tuesday, February 21 at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Kingsford. Fr. Michael Woempner will offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in Iron Mountain Cemetery Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in her memory.
