Therese C. Dougoveto, 9 months, was born to eternal life on Wednesday, February 16, at U of M Mott Children’s Hospital, in the arms of her family. Therese was born May 22, 2021 with Trisomy 18, a condition with multiple underlying health conditions. After her birth, she spent 2 months in the NICU, and then spent 7 wonderful months at home with her family. Therese is survived by her parents, Joe and Mary Ellen (Muir) Dougoveto of Ann Arbor, MI; her brothers, Dominic, John, Paul, Charles, and Isaac Dougoveto; her grandparents, Ron and Mary Muir of Phoenix, AZ and John and Sharon Dougoveto of Iron Mountain, MI; her great-grandmother, Dorothy Alberti, of Quinnesec, MI; her aunts and uncles, Mike and Theresa (Muir) Weiland of Phoenix, AZ, Reverend Father John Muir of Phoenix, AZ, Luke and Katy (Muir) Crawford of Pittsburgh, PA, Kevin and Andrea Muir of Phoenix, AZ, Walter and Kim Dougoveto of Ypsilanti, MI, Andrea Dougoveto of Plymouth, MI, Angela (Dougoveto) Oller of Iron Mountain, MI, Tom and Maria (Dougoveto) Erickson of Iron Mountain, MI, Luke and Anna (Dougoveto) Condit of Ann Arbor, MI; and 37 cousins. Therese blessed her family with many peaceful days in their arms, loving and being loved. Her beautiful presence will be dearly missed. Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, February 20, at the Dougoveto Home at 5315 Sutton Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 21 at 10 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Ann Arbor, MI, with visitation prior at 9 am at St. Thomas the Apostle.
