Marion J. Bubloni
January 25, 1941 - December 4, 2021
Marion J. Bubloni, 80, of Iron Mountain, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Abrazo West Hospital in Goodyear, AZ. Marion was born on January 25, 1941, in Hermansville, MI, daughter of the late John and Ida (Malone) St. Juliana. She was raised in Hermansville and following her graduation from Hermansville High School in 1958 went to work for Norway Gravure. On April 29, 1961, Marion was united in marriage to Mike G. Bubloni at St. Mary’s Church in Hermansville. The two were blessed with three sons and more than 52 wonderful years together before he preceded her in death in 2013. When their boys were young, they spent much of their free time traveling the U.S. in their RV. They later purchased a home in Bullhead City, AZ, to spend the winters. Marion and Mike enjoyed the opportunity to visit Australia and their many relatives there, on more than one occasion. They played Bingo twice a week locally with friends and liked going to the casinos to play the slot machines. In her younger years, Marion played the accordion and graduated to a keyboard as she got older. Marion was sentimental and could spend hours shopping for cards that would say just the right things for her friends and family. Spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her the greatest joy. In addition to both parents and her husband, Marion was preceded in death by a sister, Donna May Gagnon; a brother, John E. St. Juliana; and special friend, Jack Powell. She is lovingly survived by three sons, Michael (Michele) Bubloni of Quinnesec, Mark (Colleen) Bubloni of Norway, and Rick (Dawn) Bubloni of Kingsford; eight grandchildren, Ashten, Nikki, Marcus, Makenzie, Amara, Alison, Haley, and Katie; five great-grandchildren, Ahrya Chartier, Athena LaRoche, Eli LaRoche, Emma and Carson Bubloni; and special friends, Sharon Hagberg and Lisa Sally, both of Iron Mountain and Mark & Cathy Grenier of Norway. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 30th at 11:00 am at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford. Fr. Joseph Gouin will offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in the Norway Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in her memory. Condolences to the family of Marion J. Bubloni may be expressed online at www.ernashfuneralhomes.com. The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the funeral arrangements.
