Henny C. Gude

Henny C. Gude, 97, of Kingsford, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 at ManorCare Health Services in Kingsford. Henny was born January 16, 1923 in Skive, Denmark, daughter of the late Victor and Johanna Christensen. She graduated from high school in Franklin Park, IL. Henny married Christian Gude and they started a family, having four children. Christian preceded Henny in death in 1961. Henny worked as a cook at several restaurants over the years and also owned and operated the Indian Lake Resort in Iron County. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. She is survived by three children, Paul (Janet) Gude of Kingsford, Joanne (Ike) Gates of Grand Rapids, MI and Christine Gude of Kingsford; nine granddaughters; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Henny was also preceded in death by a son, Peter Gude; two sisters and one brother. Private family services will be held. Condolences to the family of Henny C.
