Gerald S. Flaminio, 75, of Quinnesec, passed away early Tuesday morning, Nov. 23, 2021, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. He was born to Arthur and Loretta (Normand) Flaminio on February 15, 1946 and raised locally in the Iron Mountain - Kingsford area. He would go on to serve four years in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed playing golf and always loved watching his two boys play sports through their childhood. Jerry always kept himself busy, and you would seldom find him sitting idly by, and always willing to lend a hand to a friend or neighbor. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Mary; children, Russ (Casey) Flaminio of Kingsford and Matt (Jennifer) of East Lansing, MI; grandchildren Kevin, Kinzie (Ryan), and Aiden; great-grandchild Macie; sister, Lois Berg; and brother, James Flaminio. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain with service to follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
