Debra Alquist

September 30, 1953 - June 2, 2022

Debra Alquist, 68, of Iron Mountain entered eternal life with her lord and Savior on June 2, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born September 30, 1953, in Milwaukee, WI, to the late Patrick Farley and Evelyn (Federspiel) Gorman. Debbie grew up in the Iron Mountain-Kingsford area and remained a lifelong resident. She was married to her best friend, Timothy Alquist, for a total of 41 years. She worked various jobs in her younger years and became a homemaker once she became a mother. Debra loved her family more than anything and many of her days were spent with them. She was a wonderful writer, and in her free time she wrote many poems, short stories, and even a few musical pieces. She also enjoyed playing cards, mostly Skippo, and though she hated to lose, she was always a good sport. She enjoyed learning about her heritage, and she loved reading her Bible and did various Bible studies. Debra’s survivors include her loving husband of 41 years, Timothy Alquist; four children: three daughters and one son, Tracy Farley of Sheboygan, WI, Patricia (Mark) Creed of Niagara, WI, Brian Tauscheck of Lexington, OK, and Beth (Jeff) Clinton of Ponka City, OK; a brother, Patrick Farley; seven grandchildren, Brandon (26), Tyler (22), Micah (19), Allyssa (18), Rhianon (20), Natalie (15), and Kamilla (10); and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Farley. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Angela Galeazzi for her care and dedication to Debbie as her home health aide for the past two years. Visitation will be at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain from 10:00 am - 11:00 am on Thursday, June 16th with Pastor Tim Hawthorne officiating the service at 11:00 am.
