Christopher S. Clement

July 8, 1952 - February 5, 2022

Christopher S. Clement, 69, of Kingsford passed away on February 5, 2022, after courageously enduring the effects of a devastating stroke five months ago. He was born in Marquette, Ml, on July 8, 1952, to Harold and Eleanor Chantelois Clement. He graduated from West Iron County High School in 1970 and Western Michigan University. He leaves behind two sons: Joe and his children, Kyra and Jerome, along with their mother Elizabeth Samborski and her children, Destiny and Damen; and Jared, his wife Hannah and their children, Ayden, Weston and Natalie. He is further survived by his sisters, Eunice Anderson of Green Bay, WI, and Marilyn Clement of Roseville, MN; along with special nieces, Stephanie, Renee and Karen; nephews, Mike, Dan and Craig, along with their families; and Mary Lou Clement, mother of his children and companion at innumerable sporting events. In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry “Hank”, Jerome and Vince; brother-in-law, John (Jack) Anderson and his and Eunice's sons, Tommy and Greg. Chris left instructions there be no services and to be buried alongside his family in Michigamme. The family would like to thank all those who reached out, offered prayers and words of encouragement, and visited their dad at Freeman's, and to his caregivers there, and his working family at Ace Hardware and the customers he enjoyed assisting and befriending.
