Pamela A. Theisen

Pamela A. Theisen, 67, of Iron Mountain passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021. Her life was well lived and she was well loved! The Lord called her home in a peaceful manner at the Bellin Hospital in Green Bay with her loving family by her side. Pam was born on June 5, 1953, in Wyandotte, Michigan, the daughter of the late Cecilia (Calise) Brown and Frank Brown. She attended Southgate High School in Southgate, Michigan and graduated in 1971. Pam earned her degree as a dental hygienist and worked at many dental offices until her retirement. She spent her life as a hardworking, dedicated, faithful and loving woman who loved to dance to the beat of life. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. Pam was a twenty year member of the alcoholics anonymous family, she loved remodeling her home and was an excellent decorator, filling her home with much love! She also enjoyed hiking, sunbathing and working on a dark suntan. Pam especially loved her dog Meeka. Pam was a gentle, loving, caring and wonderful woman who has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and will be supremely missed by her husband, Torvin; daughter, Bridget Aerson; stepson, Luke (Erica) Theisen; step-daughter, Katee Theisen; sisters, Ann Marie (Tim) Jones, Brenda (Danny) Steman, Francene (Allen) Barrett, JoAnne Brown, and Rosalind Brown Gerich; brothers, Patrick (Barbara) Brown and Michael (Laura) Brown; grandchildren, Dahlia and Malcolm Theisen; father-in-law, Wayne Theisen; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kathy (Kevin) McCrary and Dan (Darlene) Theisen; special “adopted” daughter and granddaughter, Abby and Adelynn Pestka; and many nieces and nephews. Pam had a longstanding relationship with God and was very blessed with her faith to her dying breath. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be forever remembered for her beautiful smile, gentle eyes, caring heart, loving embrace and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate her life and find comfort that she is in heaven watching over us. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 5th from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Trinity United Methodist Church in Iron Mountain. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 am at the church. Rev. Geri Hamlen will officiate. Pam's wishes were to be cremated and her ashes scattered in Lake Superior with her lifelong friends, Jack and Shelly. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Pam’s memory to the Dickinson County Cancer Loan Closet.
