Marvin G Neumann

Marvin G. Neumann 81, of Felch, died Sat. Jan. 11, 2014 at his home. Marvin was born on Nov. 30, 1932, in Detroit, the son of the late William and Mildred (Young) Neumann. He married Virginia Bagnasco on June 2, 1951 at St. Raymond Church in Detroit, MI. Marvin worked many jobs and over the years had owned several businesses retiring in 1985. He has been a resident of this area for the past twenty eight years coming from Anchorville, MI. Marvin was a long time member of Perch Point Gun Club and won many trophy's for skeet shooting. He loved the outdoors including duck and deer hunting, fishing, boating and camping. He also enjoyed going to auctions, and playing keno at the casino. Marvin was a hard working, caring, loving and most of all a giving man. He gave time and money freely to anyone who needed it. He always saw the good in all people. Marvin was constantly busy working on one project or another. At close to seventy years old, he built a new house from the ground up for he and Virginia. Marvin also loved vacationing in Florida. He was devoted to his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. In his words " I had a very fulfilled life." In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph and Paul Neumann and an infant daughter; son in law, Roger Hunt; grandson Russell Hill; grandson in law, Corey Hembre; brothers, William and Alan Neumann and his mother and father in law, Barlow and Margaret Bagnasco. Marvin is survived by his wife, Virginia; sons, Marvin Jr. (Cheryl) Neumann of Algonac, MI, Arthur Neumann of Felch, Frank (Cindy) Neumann of Felch, Daniel Neumann of Algonac, MI and Patrick (Robin) Neumann of Leonard, MI; daughters, Mildred Hunt of Felch, Linda (Ronald) Holmes of Allenton, MI, Tammy (Dover) Syck of Memphis, MI, Virginia "Jeannie" (Joe) Swope of Sterling Heights, MI and Renee (Allen) Forstrom of Felch; brothers, Denny Neumann, Gerald (Gwen) Neumann, Raymond Neumann and Timothy Neumann; twenty nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9-11:00am Friday, Jan. 17th at Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Friday at the funeral home. Fr. Raymond Valerio will officiate. Burial will be in the Foster City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his memory. Condolences may be expressed to the family of Marvin G.
