Lucille R. Zweifel

Lucille R. Zweifel 94, formerly of Norway, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Dickinson County Hospital. She was born in Jenkynsville, WI on January 14, 1920 and helped her parents Ben and Lillie Ann (Reige) Pascoe with the family farm for many years. She met her husband Marshall while working at a local cafe'. After Marshall Joined the Army Air Corp., they were joined in marriage on July 17, 1937 in York, SC. After Marshall's service they returned to the Upper Peninsula and eventually settled in Norway. Marshall preceded her in death in December 2004. Lucille spent her life with a servant's heart, always tending to the needs of others before her own. She lovingly raised four children who were the joy of her life. She had many friends in the area that she spoke fondly of and cherished time spent with friends or family, from picnics and outings to deer camp, she could always be counted on. She was a rock to stand on and a pillar to lean on throughout her life, especially to her family and joyfully tended to all their needs with a Mother's heart. She will be dearly missed by all. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Lillian Vey. Lucille is survived by her four children, Linda (Bob) Branback of Kingsford, Fred (Niki) Zweifel of Virginia City, MT, James (Konni) Zweifel of Stafford, VA and Gary (Amanda) Zweifel of Norway; sister, Doris (Duane) Richards of Hastings, Minnesota; grandchildren, Jeannine (Jim) Grailer, Sarah (Stanley) Schaffer, Nickolas Zweifel, Kyle Zweifel and James Zweifel; great grandchildren, Jaime, Jessica and Justin Grailer, Judah Schaffer. Also by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, January 2nd from 10:00-12:00 noon at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon on Friday at the funeral home. Rev. David Wallis will officiate. Burial will be in the Norway Twp. Cemetery.
