"Kimberly McClary" KINGSFORD - Kimberly Ann (Partanen) McClary, 56, previously of Kingsford, passed away Wednesday, Nov 9, 2005, traveling with a special friend, while visiting her children and grandchildren in Iron Mountain. She resided in Oklahoma City, Okla., for the past two years to be with her mother. She was born on Aug. 2, 1949, in Detroit, the daughter of Elizabeth (Brookhouse) Peterson of Oklahoma City, and the late William McClary of Chicago. Kimberly graduated from Florence High School in 1967 and lived most of her life in the Iron Mountain-Kingsford area with her growing family. Kimberly was a loving mother and grandmother with a big heart and the deepest love for her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. Kimberly was extremely talented at sewing with an amazing ability to remove any stain and mend anything and everything. She also enjoyed cooking, designing jewelry, ceramics, and spending time with her grandchildren. Kimberly is also survived by her children, Elizabeth (Charlie) Garbrecht and Eric (Stephanie) LeQuia, both of Iron Mountain; her brothers, David McClary of California and Richard (Kathy) McClary of Oklahoma City; her aunt and godmother, Mary Jane Grayson of Detroit; her aunt, Marilyn (Hank) Symoms of Shawnee, Okla.; her uncle, Jack (Barbara) Brookhouse of Decatur, Texas; her grandchildren, Carissa, Kayla, Matthew, Charlie Jr., Katey, Lindsey, Hope, Abby, Bailey, and Nathan; a very dear and special friend, Pierre Jubenville of Iron Mountain; and an overwhelming number of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Louisa McClary of Detroit, John Brookhouse of Detroit, Elizabeth Brown Brookhouse-Robbins of Detroit, and an uncle, George Adlum of Detroit. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain. Rev. Michael March will officiate.
