Jillian Scruggs

FOSTER CITY - Jillian Nicole Scruggs, 21, of W2679 Nurse Carlson Road in Foster City, died, Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. Jillian was born on Nov. 17, 1986, in Grayslake, Ill. She was a 2005 graduate of North Dickinson High School and attended Bay de Noc College. Jillian was an energetic and witty girl. She loved animals, dancing and nature. She was always eager to help others. Jillian was a cancer survivor and a world without her is inconceivable. Jillian was the loving daughter of Louise Faymonville and Daniel Scruggs; granddaughter of Shirley McCormick of Foster City and Barbara McCormick of Oshkosh, Wis.; wonderful sister to Christy Faymonville of Green Bay, Wis. and Eric Scruggs of Foster City; jubilant aunt to Madison and Eli Pollard of Green Bay; soulmate and best friend of Paul Sheldon of Felch; her aunts and uncles, Jim and Karen Helmick of Seattle, Bill and Betsy Helmick of Chula Vista, Calif., Loretta Faymonville of Hawaii, LaVerne Faymonville of Phoenix, Ariz., Phillip and Ami Faymonville of Blue Island, Ill., Debbie and Jeff Foernssler of Elgin, Ill., Loren Jarolimek of Oshkosh, Wis., Rene' and Sean Elliot of Oshkosh, Wis.; and many cousins and loved pets. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Priscilla and Justin Faymonville; paternal grandfather, James McCormick; aunts, Cheryl Faymonville and Nancy McCormick; and uncle, Thomas Scruggs. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be offered at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Joseph Church in Foster City. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Joseph Church in Foster City. Fr. Dick Mroz will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the Spring Lake Humane Society or green plants may be sent to the funeral home for a memorial garden.
