Harold Trumble

Harold Trumble IRON MOUNTAIN - Harold C. Trumble, 82, of 1100 W. Hughitt St., Iron Mountain, died Friday, March 10, 2006, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain. He was born on Nov. 13, 1923, in Wisconsin Dells, Wis., the son of the late Charles and Ruth (Ellison) Trumble. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Seabee in the Pacific Theater. He worked as a plumber and was a charter member of Union Local 506. Harold was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the American Legion Uren-Cooper-Johnson Post 50. He volunteered to work in the Appalachian Mountains with the Appalachian Service Project. He enjoyed spending time at his cottage and fishing, gardening, and exercising. He married Wanda Harding on March 12, 1946, at the First United Methodist Church in Iron Mountain. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; four daughters, Pamela (Bernard) Marcoullier of Wausau, Wis., Siri (Bob Sternhagen) Trumble of Kingsford, Wanda (Teck) Khor of Iron Mountain, and Tina (Jeff) Dabb of Iron Mountain; one brother, Randy (Jan) Trumble of Kingsford; two sisters, Jidge (Joe) Van Remoortere of Kingsford, and Marilyn (Duane) Fayas of Iron Mountain; 10 grandchildren, Christine (Tim) Edwards, Tom Marcoullier, Gary Marcoullier, Monica (Jim) Chartier, Ryan Shaw, Dalbert Shaw, Emilia (Chris Ritzenhein) Khor, Amanda Khor, Todd Edwards and McKenna Dabb; six great-grandchildren, Caleb and Amber Edwards, James, Tyler, Jacob, and baby Chartier (who is on the way). He was preceded in death by a son, Richard and a sister, Alice Fornetti. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home. The American Legion Uren-Cooper-Johnson Post 50 will conduct military services at 4 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held immediately following. Rev.
