Constance "Connie" Dennis

Constance “Connie” Dennis, 81, of Kingsford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at Evergreen Assisted Living in Kingsford. Connie was born on October 16, 1938, in Niagara, WI, and was the daughter of the late Orville and Violet (Chaltry) Phillips. She has been a resident of this area her entire life, a 1956 graduate of Niagara High School and earned an accounting degree from Bay de Noc College. She worked for many years in accounting for LoDal Inc. in Kingsford. Connie was a member of St. Mary Queen of Peace Church where she volunteered as a CCD teacher. She was an avid duplicate bridge player and a member of the local bridge club. Over the years she also enjoyed ceramics, knitting, camping, cross country skiing, bowling and spending time with family. Connie is survived by her children, Brenda (Charles) Seremjian of Mason, MI, Keith (Karen) Dennis of Rock Hill, SC, Kevin (Jenny) Dennis of Waukesha, WI, and Kurt Dennis of Bad Axe, MI; grandchildren, Angela (Bob) Boerkoel, Allison Seremjian, Michael Seremjian, Nichole (Kenneth) Knight, Michelle (Reece) Young, Ryan (Deanna) Dennis, Mark Dennis, Jason Dennis, Kristen (Bill) Hussey, Hanna Dennis, Ashley Dennis and Emily Dennis; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kyleigh, Kaden, Lila, Konnor, Fitzgerald and Emmett; brother, Reginald (Sally) Phillips of Niagara; and a sister, Donna Kentgen of Burnsville, MN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond, Roy, Roger, Richard and Roland Phillips. Visitation will be on Friday, Feb. 7, from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at the Kingsford Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am Friday at St. Mary Queen of Peace Church in Kingsford. Fr. Michael Kowalewski will offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in the Niagara Cemetery. Connie’s grandsons and grandsons in law will serve as pallbearers.
