SSgt. Brandon M. Bosley

SSgt. Brandon M. Bosley, 31, of Wasilla, AK, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Memorial Regional Hospital in Miami, FL. He was born June 9, 1985 in Iron Mountain, the son of Mark and Jean (Dulan) Bosley. Brandon graduated from Kingsford High School in 2004 and went on to attend Bay College and Lansing Community College. He enlisted in the United States Air Force on May 26, 2009 and completed basic training at Lakeland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. Brandon served as a Crew Chief Staff Sergeant with the F22 Fighters 525th Raptor Fighter Squadron. He had schooling at Sheppard AFB in Wichita, TX prior to being stationed at Tyndall AFB for three years. He was deployed twice to the United Arab Emirates and was stationed overseas in Japan and South Korea. Currently he was stationed at Elmendorf-Richardson Joint AFB in Anchorage, AK. Brandon was an avid Michigan sports fan and faithfully followed the Michigan State Spartans and the Detroit Lions & Red Wings. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. His children were his life and he loved nothing more than spending time with his family. Brandon is survived by his wife, Ricci; two children, Dominic and Rory; his parents, Mark & Jean Bosley; a brother, Adam Bosley; his paternal grandmother, Lois (Roger) Rochon; aunts & uncles, Marijo Dulan (Mark Ellingson), Denise (Randy) Munn, Mark (Sharon) Dulan, Ann Bosley (Roy), Lynn (Dave) Karban, Mary Bosley and John (Lisa) Bosley; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roy Bosley and his maternal grandparents, Eugene “Red” and Lois Dulan. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Funeral services will follow at 4:00pm at the funeral home. Fr. Paul Nomellini will officiate. The Grand Forks AFB Honor Guard will provide Military Funeral Honors at the funeral home following the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established with a veterans organization chosen by the family.
