Alvin Peterson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Alvin Peterson BREITUNG TOWNSHIP - Alvin H. Peterson, 77, of Breitung Township, died Friday, March 5, 2004, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. He was born June 30, 1926, in Iron Mountain, son of the late Carl and Lillian (Jaques) Peterson. He graduated from Kingsford High School. Alvin married Lillie Barnes on Dec. 20, 1948, and she preceded him in death on May 29, 1988. Alvin has been a lifelong resident of the area. He worked as the plant operator for Wisconsin Electric until his retirement in July 1986. Alvin was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, the Masonic Lodge #222, and the Free and Accepted Masons of Wisconsin. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and walking. He loved talking to people. Alvin was preceded in death by a brother, Conrad Peterson. He is survived by a son, Michael (Bobbie) Peterson of Breitung Township; grandchildren Jesse (Tanya) Peterson of Forest Grove, Ore., Chad (Tammy) Peterson of Forest Grove, Laurie Stephens of Appleton, Wis., and Josh Arcand of Kingsford; great- grandchildren Seth Peterson, Taylor and Hailey Peterson and Jordyn Stephens, and a special friend, June Moddie. Visitation will be on Monday, March 8, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Fr.
