Agnes Pirlot

LILBURN, Ga. - Agnes Pirlot, 86, of Lilburn, formerly of Kingsford, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family on May 31, 2009. She was born in Gurley, Mich. on July 15, 1922, to Henry and Margaret (Jacques) DeGrave. Agnes lived in Kingsford until 1966. At the time of her death she was living in Lilburn. Agnes was retired from Hines V.A. Hospital in Hines, Ill. and was a member of St. John Neuman Catholic Church in Lilburn. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Alan) Lund of Lilburn; sons, Norman (Marjorie) La Salle of Snellville, Ga. and Eugene (Dianna) Pirlot of Lilburn; grandchildren, Scott (Sharon) La Salle, Julie La Salle, Gary Smith, Steven (Tanya) Smith, Jayson (Becky) Pirlot, Richard (Marlena) Pirlot, Joshua Pirlot, Cody Pirlot, and Jacob Hollman; great-grandchildren, Alexander La Salle, Amanda LaSalle, Steven Smith II, Madi Pirlot; step-children, Lois Kidd and Donna Steinbrecker; step-grandchildren, Angela (Gerald) Emond, Kristopher Lund, Jennifer Niehouse and Lauren (Kevin) Vail; sisters, Rose Verley, Dorothy (William) Burkart, Marie Collins, Brothers: Frei Haroldo O.F.M. of Brazil, Robert (Josie) De Grave, many special sisters-in-law; step-great-grandchildren, Nathan Lund, Zachary Duby, Kristopher Lund Jr., Brynn Lund, Justin Lund. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Shawn Pirlot; brothers, Jule, John, Hubert, Lawrence, Harold, and Clifford. Visitation will be held at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash funeral home of Iron Mountain from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon at American Martyrs Catholic Church. Fr. Joseph Gouin will offer the Mass of the Christian burial. Burial will be in the Quinnesec Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Scott LaSalle, Gary Smith, Steven Smith, Richard Pirlot, Jayson Pirlot, Joshua Pirlot, Cody Pirlot and Jake Hollman.
